Thank you for choosing Acupuncture and Wellness Specialists. We realize that you have a choice and are pleased that you have chosen to seek care with us. Our goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner. In order to do so, we have implemented an appointment/cancellation policy. The policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of our care.

 

 

OFFICE HOURS

 

Our office is available Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm by appointment only. 

Other appointments times may also be available  per patients request.

CANCELLATION OF AN APPOINTMENT

 

If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call one (1) working day (24 hours)  in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the ability to have access to timely medical care. A failure to cancel your scheduled appointment will result in $50.00 charge of the appointment fee.

 

 

NO SHOW POLICY

 

A “no show” is someone who misses an appointment without canceling it within one (1) business day in advance. No-shows inconvenience those individuals who need access to medical care in a timely manner. A failure to present at the time of a scheduled appointment will result in $50.00 charge of the appointment fee.

**Please note that No-Show charges are the patient’s responsibility and will not be billed to your insurance company.

 

 

INSURANCE

 

Acupuncture and Wellness Specialists accepts insurance plans.

But keep in mind that we are OUT OF NETWORK PROVIDERS, and only those insurance plans that have that coverage may cover our services.

Medicaid, Medicare, and any HMO plans DO NOT cover our services.

We can check your insurance coverage FREE OF CHARGE.

Patients are responsible for any co-pays and deductible fees at the time of service.

 

 

PAYMENTS

 

Acupuncture and Wellness Specialists accepts cash, personal checks, and ZELLE payments.

Any credit or debit card payments are subject to 5% surcharge fee.
